George KaraliasGeorge is well versed in traditional marketing as well as the latest in digital and integrated (paid, owned, earned) marketing, Collaborating with teams internally as well as agencies and vendors, he has produced successful campaigns that include traditional advertising, cutting edge social media, video, photography, product literature, press releases, op-ed articles, webinars, white papers, websites, internal communications and training, and employee motivational initiatives.
During his career, he has helped companies grow by introducing innovative marketing techniques and concise storytelling. He has worked with many companies, including Avid, Rochester Electronics, Purchasing Center, Interactics, Parker Brothers, Tonka, Nintendo, Sega, and Microsmiths, where he helped bring the first (and wildly successful) golf simulation game to the PC, Amiga and Mac – Mean 18. George has also spearheaded several unique projects, including presentations highlighting Boston’s growth as it evolved during Mayor Menino’s time in office. While at 1 Beyond, Inc in Boston, he grew the company by 500% as VP of Sales and Marketing. At the height of Avid Technology’s success, George was involved with activity surrounding Avid’s winning of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts Technical Achievement Oscar Award. From 2006 till 2015, George worked with the Semiconductor Industry Association as a member of the Anti-Counterfeit Task Force in Washington DC to educate Capitol Hill members and the public on the dangers of counterfeit electronics.
George graduated from Boston College with a BA and began his career under the tutelage of Stavros Cosmopulos, a founder of Hill, Holiday, Connors, Cosmopulos. He is also Hubspot Certified for Inbound Marketing. As an active member of the National Cartoonist Society, George is assisting in charitable Foundation activity, including Cartooning for Kids at St Jude Hospital.
